What to Expect for Your Fist Tattoo

Are you looking to get your first tattoo? but you have questions and aren’t sure how to go about getting one? Follows these simple steps to take all the guess work out of it and to help understand our quick and easy process.

STEP 1

Now that you've made the decision to get your first tattoo, the initial step is to fill out a consultation request. Visit our “contact” page to book a consult. Our form asks various questions about you, the tattoo you have in mind, your preferred timeframe and artist. Providing comprehensive details at this stage helps streamline the process and enables us to pair you with the most suitable artist. Before submitting your request, we recommend browsing through our artists' bios or galleries to familiarise yourself with their work. Each artist specialises in a distinct style, and it's essential to match each client with the right artist to ensure a fantastic tattoo outcome.

STEP 2

Within a short time of submitting your consultation request, one of our artists will reach out to you. They may request additional information on your tattoo, this will help them match you with the best artist for your vision if they haven’t done so already.

STEP 3

Once an artist receives your request, they'll get in touch with you. They'll either schedule a consultation to discuss your tattoo ideas in detail or arrange a booking directly, especially for smaller tattoos that may not require a consultation.

STEP 4

After discussing your tattoo idea with your artist, they'll give you an estimated cost for the tattoo. It's important to note that this quote isn't final, as the actual price depends on the time it takes to complete the tattoo. To secure your booking, the artist will request a deposit, which will be deducted from the final tattoo cost. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been paid. Visit our “deposit policy” page for more info.

STEP 5

As bookings are frequently scheduled months ahead, it's common to have small tweaks in mind for the design. If you have any adjustments you'd like to discuss, feel free to email your artist. They typically finalise the design only in the week leading up to your appointment and are more than willing to make changes to ensure you're delighted with the design.

THAT’S IT
