Birds of Prey Tattoo has been a dream and ambition of Tom de Vries (Owner and Tattoo Artist) since he began his tattoo apprenticeship in May of 2010. 
As of February 2024, after many years of planning and hard work, that dream became a reality.

Toms objective was to build a motivational and encouraging space where artists could share ideas, skills and expertise whilst working towards one common goal; to deliver the highest quality hand drawn tattoos. 
We believe it is important to pay homage to traditions but done so with a contemporary, modern approach. 

Birds of Prey Tattoo is located at the edge of Adelaide’s CBD at 118 port road Hindmarsh. Our large, two story studio allows us the space to offer both walk in tattoo requests (no pre appointment is always necessary) as well as ongoing, private studio style appointments. We provide an environment for both artist and client which is clean, welcoming, comfortable, inspiring and a lot of fun. We aim to hold ourselves to the highest possible standard both artistically and professionally and deliver a product and experience to our client which emulates that.

Japanese, neo traditional and traditional are some of the prominent styles you can expect to see from our talented team of versatile artists that specialise in illustration based tattooing.
